Keeping It Warm in Arizona

Being born and raised in a tropical country and then migrating to a country where winter (or cold season) occurs, such as America, it can be a real threat. Arizona, fortunately, does not get as cold as the states far from the equator. And although I love playing in the snow and bundling up through a cold winter breeze, I appreciate Arizona as it is. Cool yet not frigid. As I am writing this, our neighborhood here in the suburbs has finally gotten some actual people roaming around, running, riding their bicycles, and what not--the snow birds. I love seeing the neighborhood alive and quite crowded. I love seeing people having a morning run as it motivates me to be active as well. I love seeing the farmers' market across the street with a few more people. I love this weather and I love how it attracts people. During the winter season here in Arizona, I get to wear sweaters, but I get the pleasure of not having to bundle up as much. And I love it! Here's a go-to outfit idea that I find myself always doing: layering up summer clothes. As you might have noticed from my previous outfit post, I love pairing a collared-top with a crop top or a sweater that can be tied up. I hope you find inspiration through this post!

How do you beat the cold from where you live?

How to Style: Scarves (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

I was having an informal dinner with my friends the other night, and one of them asked. "How do you always look put-together?" I did not expect this comment at all, because I was literally wearing black leggings at a plain tee. What made her think that I looked put-together was my scarf. This is why I believe that can totally change up your look with accessories, such as scarves. Here are ten different ways on how to style a scarf!

Collars & Colors: The Beauty of Layering

Hi everyone,

I hope all is well! I know a post has been long overdue, but I'm really sorry for not being able to post lately. I've been trying to get on top of all my school work, so I'll have time to do what I love doing: blogging. I will be posting some more! Without further ado, here's an outfit idea for you!

Romantic Monochrome: A Black & White-Themed Makeup & Hair Idea

Looking for an elegant and sophisticated yet timeless look? Here's a makeup and hair look for you!

A couple of days ago a few of my friends from my high school contacted me asking if I could make a video tutorial for their upcoming black and white-themed prom. I was inspired to do this look exactly because of that idea. When they requested this video, I instantly knew I wanted to do it because of the overwhelming amount of support they give me. Long story short, I decided to make a classy, black and white makeup look with an elegant hair updo idea!

Feeling Down Lately?

As Coco Chanel very well said, "Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street. Fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."

Today, I decided to do a little not-so-typical OOTD post to share my love and passion for film, style, and fashion. A black dress can be worn virtually everywhere; it is a chameleon in disguise. It is protected by a dark and rugged hue of facade, yet it still manages to stay resilient. For the new year, I am aiming to be more like this little black dress; strong yet multifaceted.
Happy 2015 everyone! Please enjoy watching!
